I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 7, 1976. I graduated from Albany High school in Louisiana in 1995. Growing up I excelled in track becoming district MVP in Louisiana, and TX. No matter how well I did in track, basketball was the sport I always loved. It truly dug at the very soul of me. I played everywhere I could find. Now moving through 49 states and 5 countries it seemed evident the military was going to be my life.
However, my 14-year career was cut short by injuries. Staring at a wheel chair seemed to be the only result of me going above and beyond. I would not accept defeat though. As the doctor stated you will never walk again, I could not accept this. Although with hard work, extensive rehab, determination, and God as a solution, I would again walk with my wife by my side through 17 surgeries. I could have accepted my disabilities by sitting but it could not define me. So I went to school got my degree in Liberal Arts with a 3.7 GPA. Yet I still wanted more. I am now attending University of Incarnate Word to obtain my bachelor’s in government. During my recovery process, I got involved with my community. Thus, my professional career consists of two full terms of city council and I am currently in the process of running for State Representative district 118.
I am a professional Singer, Stand-up Comedian, Emcee / Host, (Dramatic, Comedic) actor,
(Commercial/Independent) Film actor, Productions / Rehearsal Crew Leader, Authored
Plays/Books/Comic books, Artist of children/ comic books. Won various competitions for singing and comedy. I am the owner of RZR Comics/ comic book company and motivational speaker. I was awarded Honorary Kentucky Colonel based on achievements while serving in the United States Army. I have always felt my dreams will lead me to do more. “We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us
let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; while nursing them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true. I feel that is why I stay in the mist of my dreams and strive for the challenge of reaching them.” Woodrow Wilson Americas 28 th President (1856-1924)
